How far is the island?
The island is about a 15-minute boat ride away.
How long is the boat ride?
The ride is quick, but we’ll make a stop at Atlantis Marina for a brief tour along the way.
How long is the tour?
The tour lasts about 2.5 hours.
Will we be back on time?
Depending on the scheduled departure, we will return by approximately 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm, or 3:30 pm. Rest assured, no guests have missed any travel arrangements or accommodations due to timing.
Are there any sharks?
While there are no barriers in the ocean, and we’re always in nature, the shallow reef makes shark encounters very unlikely.
How long have the pigs been there?
The pigs have been on Athol Island for about two years.
What type of pigs are they?
We have two types of pigs on the island: pot-bellied pigs and Vietnamese mini pigs.
Will the baby pigs be out?
Yes, the baby pigs will be out soon! They’re waiting for the larger pigs to settle down before joining in.
How long will we be on the beach?
We’ll spend about an hour on the beach.
How do I get my photos?
All photos will be sent directly to the email you provided when filling out the waiver form.
Do you provide towels?
Unfortunately, we do not provide towels.
Do the pigs bite?
No, they don’t bite, but they might try to grab treats from you or another pig, so stay alert and enjoy the fun!
